EEF Future Manufacturing Awards open for nominations!

The EEF, supporting and championing the manufacturing and engineering industry have opened the nominations for their 2017 Future Manufacturing Awards.  The Awards highlight the leading work of the industry and provide an opportunity for businesses to showcase the work they are doing. The awards this year are supported by Catapult High Value Manufacturing, Jonathan Lee Recruitment, Liberty House Group and Menzies.  The categories are:

  • Business Growth Award
  • Developing People Award
  • Environmental Achievement Award
  • Export Award
  • Health and Safety Award
  • Innovation Award
  • Partnerships Award
  • Leadership Award

Nominations are open for the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards: Apprentice Awards. They are designed to celebrate the achievements of apprentices in Engineering and Manufacturing businesses in their first and final year. The categories are:

  • Intermediate & Advanced Apprentices Award – First Year
  • Intermediate & Advanced Apprentices Award – Final Year
  • Higher Apprentice Award – First Year
  • Higher Apprentice Award – Final Year
  • Business Apprentice Award – First Year
  • Business Apprentice Award – Final Year

These awards recognise apprentices at various levels of apprenticeships who have done the most to seize the training and development opportunities presented to them. Entries are invited from apprentices themselves as well as managers within the business or tutors within the training provider who have responsibility for them. Each company may enter up to 6 apprentices per site per award.
