Employment and Skills Board a Year in Review 2018

2018 has been another successful for the Essex Employment and Skills Board. We have featured as case studies in local and national skills reports, represented Essex businesses at SELEP events and contributed to local strategies.

Our programmes have supported thousands of young people and working age adults to be inspired in key sectors across Essex and have access to relevant, local employment and skills information. 

We have launched the 'What's Your Thing' website with dedicated careers and information for young people and adults. We also launched the 'Ultimate Guide' providing information on a range of elements linked to employment and skills, including self employment options, developing a growth mindset, preparing for interviews and health and wellbeing in the workplace.
