Essex Digital Awards 2017

In just two days time, the biggest digital event of the year will return to Essex.

The Essex Digital Awards (EDA17) will be held 18th May to celebrate local talent, online business and innovation in Essex, engaging a digital community that stretches deep into every industry and demographic.

For the third year running, we are sponsoring the event which shares our aim to help grow the digital skillset within Essex. Not only will we sponsor the awards, but we are hosting our own: the Future of Essex award. This award recognises the achievement of local students who have engaged with our Education and Industry STEM Programme.

Our IT, Digital and Creative sector lead, Paul Coffey, will be presenting the award to the three finalists who have all impressed their teachers by going above and beyond in their STEM-related activities, and show a keen enthusiasm in their work.

Paul has said of EDA17: "We are delighted to be supporting this event which shares our views that exceptional local skills and businesses should be celebrated. As the digital and creative industry expands, offering both opportunities and challenges, we must ensure Essex is well equipped to thrive.”

Alongside the Future of Essex award, we will also be sponsoring the Website: Small Business award which further recognises the great digital work that so many of our businesses are involved with.
