The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) has funded the production of ten National Careers Service (NCS) videos which provide a glimpse into the benefits of apprenticeships within a number of different sectors.

These sectors include: Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Construction, Care, Financial & Related Services, Health and Logistics and the videos are now available on our YouTube channel.

The short, case-study videos highlight the range of different people undertaking apprenticeships and the benefits that learning through an apprenticeship brings to them. In addition to this, the videos also showcase the value of taking on an apprentice from a business perspective. This insight is particularly important as more and more businesses will be considering an apprentice because of the Apprenticeship Levy which was introduced last year (2016).

These videos feature a number of Essex-based companies (Leonardo, Anderson Group & TLC Care Homes) as well as other organisations from across Kent and East Sussex. The Sussex Council of Training Providers (SCTP) also supported in the curation of these videos, which support additional apprenticeship videos made in Brighton and Hove. These videos are available on SCTP's YouTube channel

This content is also available on the SELEP YouTube channel. We encourage you to share and promote these free resources to support the uptake of apprenticeships.
