ESB Finalists for MJ Awards

We are proud to announce that we made the cut! We're in the running to win the honourable award in Innovation in Partnership, hosted by the Municipal Journal (The MJ) in the month of June.

We have been working strongly with local authority partners for two years in order to address the skills shortages across Greater Essex. Through this partnership, we have established vital connections with local employers across seven sectors, academic institutions, and local authorities and have created a fundamental channel of communication between these groups. Now, not only can we talk about the issues, but we can deliver employer-led solutions to reinforce the local economy.

The MJ Awards have recognised the excellence and innovation behind this work and have included the ESB in its shortlisting for the annual MJ Awards. The judging panel commented that: "it was a very good submission with evidence across all criteria, particularly in terms of joined up effective leadership and governance".
