Free Music Sessions with We Are Music

Did you get a guitar or drum kit for Christmas? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to play one? Well now is your chance!

Jaywick Martello Tower is hosting FREE music sessions for young people aged 8 to 18 years old.

Whether you’re interested in electric guitar or bass, rocking out on the drums, or maybe you have a singing voice that needs to be heard. There are sessions for beginners and sessions for already established musicians that could be what you need to take your talent to the next level. Group sessions give you the opportunity to form a band with other likeminded individuals to find your perfect sound or if you’re already a part of a band bring them along to improve your music together!

The music sessions run hourly from 5pm at the historic Jaywick Martello Tower every Tuesday during term time and is open to residents of Clacton, Jaywick Sands and surrounding villages.  

The sessions are provided by Harwich based charity, ‘We Are Music,’ which helps young people to engage in the community through popular music and funded by Essex Music Education Hub (using funding from Arts Council England) and Essex County Council Cultural Development Team.
