National Apprenticeships Week 2016

National Apprenticeships Week (NAW 2016) will be held between 14th and 18th of March, and this year the Essex Employment and Skills Board's Education and Industry STEM Programme have a range of exciting events to fill the week.

Our STEM Programme was developed to help connect the bridge between an education in STEM, and its applications in the world of work. This has allowed hundreds of students across Essex to experience the value of their school subjects in a practical, hands-on way and encourage them to look at STEM as the key to exciting, life-long career prospects.

Below is a short list of the events that will be held during NAW 2016, and some of the leading companies in the industry that will be working alongside us, including: JW Froelich, Selex ES, Olympus Keymed, Keolis Amey DLR, Bombardier Transport and Stansted Airport.

We would like to give special thanks to PROCAT (Prospects College of Advanced Technology) for their continued support with our programme, educating many students about the value of an apprenticeship, and for hosting an open event for NAW 2016.
