Dates for your Diaries!

It's been a busy Summer for the team here at the ESB's 'Essex Education and Industry STEM Programme', working with our partners to establish dates for our ongoing key sector taster days, our competition and project activity in 2018/19 and a number of Royal Institution Masterclass series throughout the academic year. We're delighted to have our most comprehensive calendar ever - and it's far from complete! We'll continue to add events and activities as we confirm details and will be circulating future iterations throughout the year, to schools and industry partners.

By publishing the calendar at the start of the school year it's our hope that we can alert interested schools as early as possible, giving them time to make the neccessary arrangements in preparation for taking students out to careers-focused events, or alerting parents to upcoming weekend activities. And for industry partners, it means we can give them forewarning of occasions where their help and support would be welcomed. As ever, if your school would like to take part, you can book places at our events on the 'events' tab here at the ESB website. Finance Sector Taster Day at University of Essex, Colchester for years 10-13	Health Science Masterclasses for year 9's
Health and Social Care 'Conference' at South Essex College, Thurrock for years 10-13

Schools can book their attendance at key sector taster days at the likes of South Essex College, Harlow College, the University of Essex and PROCAT, via the 'events' tab here at the ESB website. If schools wish to nominate students to attend our Royal Institution Computer Science, Maths or Engineering Masterclasses or enter students into our various competition and project activities, they can get in touch with annette.hall@essex.gov.uk, hannah.mead@essex.gov.uk or james.wilkinson@essex.gov.uk.
